Pilates Instructor & Personal Trainer
Originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia Sarah started her fitness career more than 30 years ago as an American Council of Exercise certified Personal Trainer and British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association Fitness Instructor. She went on to qualify with a diploma in Sport and Recreation, and later a degree in Human performance. An avid (and once competitive runner) she is a Lydiard Foundation Coach and organises Trail Tribe, a free community running group. Her varied Pilates training with Stott Pilates (Canada) (Matwork), Michael King Pilates (U.K) (Matwork and Reformer), and Polestar Pilates (Mat, Studio and Critical Reasoning) provides a wide platform for applying the modality for fitness and health, rehabilitation, and sport-specific high performance.
She is currently registered with REPS NZ and holds several other certifications including Exercise as Medicine (Wright Foundation, UK), TRX, Animal Flow, Metafit, Pre and Post Natal Fitness (BCRPA), Sports Massage (AUT), Exercise for Seniors (BCRPA), and more.
Sarah teaches group, small group, and private sessions.
