Studio Owner & Pilates Instructor
Kristin began practicing Pilates while living in Boulder, Colorado and become certified when she moved to New Zealand. Some of her education includes Stott Pilates, Peak Pilates and Yoga Medicine. She has a keen interest working with individuals needing safe pelvic floor exercises and pre/postnatal women. She believes finding the right balance between flexibility, mobility and strength are all part of the equation for achieving optimal health.
Kristin has a passion for learning, discovering and understanding the body through exercise and movement as a form of body movement therapy. Kristin graduated with a B.A in Cultural Anthropology from CU Boulder. Kristin is registered as a Safe Pelvic Floor Exercise Professional with Continence NZ.
Her classes are dynamic and educational and focus on breathing and alignment.
When Kristin is not teaching Pilates, she enjoys exploring New Zealand with her husband and 2 year old son.
